Manage Comments From Your Windows or Linux Desktop
Comments form a very integral part of any blog to generate communication and spark discussions. As a WordPress blog user, managing comments and replying to them is very easy, however, what if you can manage and reply to comments from your desktop?
WP Comments Notifier is a open source application written in QT/C++ for Linux and Windows, which will allow you to manage new comments and reply to them from your desktop. In addition to that, it will also allow you to edit, spam or delete the comments.
This app will also display comments summary when you hover over the system tray icon and alert you whenever a new comment is posted to your blog. The app also works for WPMU blogs.
You can download the installer for Windows by visiting the app homepage and also find instructions on how to build the app from source on Linux machines.

Cool, thank you for this news, I was searching something similar the past week and this program works perfectly for manage wp_comments from desktop!
Wow thanks for letting me know about this handy tool! I’ve already installed and loving it
Now only if there was an OS-X version…
This is really good! I will definitely try this. Thanks a lot for sharing.
First time I’ve seen a design like Greener Side. Really cool!
Greener Side is one of the nicest themes I’ve seen in a while. My father is an avid golfer and loves to write about various courses, so I’ll be suggesting this theme to him.
CleanTech is a great theme, not just because of the way it looks. It’s simple yet nice looking, and has just the basics like logo changing. It’s not cluttered up with required plugins or complicated magazine style options. More like this one would be fantastic.
I agree with Andrew (the first one), leaving a comment with the review would be mucho more helpful.
“The only addition I’d like to see is the ability to place javascript code (or any code really) instead of the normal img url so that things like 125×125 adsense code can be used as well.”
ME2!!!
A big thanks for the update. This is a really useful plugin.
I think I’m going to use Block Bad Queries…..
My friend started two e-commerce sites, one very nicely done with a professional name, the other very tacky with a silly name in my opinion. Guess which one makes twice as much as the other?
Awesome link. You make be a big fish in a little pond, but get out into the ocean and see where you stand.
Thanks Mark, and Bandit they definitely don’t care about the ToS agreement. It’s all about the money! My friend got banned from Google for a domain violation a few years ago, for basically doing what a billion dollar company did, you’d know the name….
Even my old blog templates, just updated to work with Google. It isn’t an option anymore, you cannot neglect the search engine that has a total monopoly on the market.
